Social media and your mental health

While there are lots of positives to social media, it doesn’t always leave us feeling great about ourselves. Even when we know that what we see online isn’t 100% real, we can get stuck in a cycle of comparing ourselves to others and trying to live up to societal expectations.

The great news though, is that there are things we can do to help change this and make our socials work better for us!

It can help to remember too that the true intention of social media is to connect people, not make them compete.
